I am a Psychotherapist, Creative Arts Therapist, Drama Therapist, Trainer and Author with over 25 years of experience.

As the founder of a non-profit organization, I developed and implemented an evidence-based drama therapy method that served over 200,000 students in New York City schools for 25 years. I continue to train therapists and educators in the ENACT drama therapy method, empowering professionals to create impactful change through creative and therapeutic approaches.

I am honored to have received multiple awards, including a prestigious five-year research grant from the Ford Foundation, as well as recognition from New York City Council and State Education organizations. The ENACT Drama Therapy Method, which I developed, was recognized by the American Group Psychotherapy Association with the award for Best Creative Group Counseling Method.

I am deeply passionate about supporting children and families, with a strong commitment to making a lasting impact. My book, “Stuck in a Role; Releasing Trauma in Teens” will be published by Routledge Press in Spring 2025. In addition to authoring chapters in peer-reviewed journals, I have taught at Brookdale Hospital, Baruch College, Hunter College, and New York University, where I received my MA.

My dedication to helping children extends beyond my practice, including volunteer work with children and families in rural India.
