Children:
Are your children struggling with stress, separation anxiety, emotion regulation, making friends, anger outbursts, or other behavior problems?
How I can help:
Children develop life skills through play. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I use expressive arts therapies such as creative drama, music, and art to help children work through difficult feelings.
“You are the first person (our child) has opened up to, so that will always be special for us.” — J. Parent
Adolescents:
Is your adolescent struggling with anxiety, self-esteem issues, bullying, depression, peer pressure, body image concerns, or defiant behavior?
Adolescence is a time of intense change and challenges. Along with navigating school pressures, friendships, and personal identity, teens often face additional stressors such as family changes, like divorce, and uncertainty in the world around them. For many, traditional talk therapy may not be enough to fully express or process their emotions.
How I can help:
That’s where creative approaches like roleplay, theater games, and storytelling come in. These methods provide a safe and engaging way for teens to explore their struggles, express their feelings, and develop positive coping skills to replace negative behaviors.
I’ve learned how to express myself and to not be afraid to show emotion.” — Jenny, 12 years old
Families:
Is your child having a problem with school, substance abuse, or an eating disorder? Has a major trauma or change impacted the entire family? Is there a sudden change in your family dynamics?
How I can help:
Family therapy can be beneficial to all members on various levels. It helps facilitate cohesion and communication, promotes problem-solving by enhancing the understanding of family dynamics, builds empathy and, fosters deeper understanding, and reduces conflict within the family.
Parents:
Do you ever worry that you're not doing enough to help your child?
How I can help:
I offer one-on-one coaching in a compassionate, non-judgmental atmosphere designed to help you become more self-aware and better attuned to your children. Together, we’ll work on improving your relationships, breaking free from patterns of drama, and equipping you with effective tools to manage your reactions and handle stress.
Group Therapy
Feeling misunderstood, socially isolated, or alone?
If you or your children are struggling with these emotions, you’re not alone.
How I can help:
I offer group therapy for children, adolescents, and adults in a creative, supportive environment. Through theater games, role-play, and performance, participants can connect with peers, express themselves, and practice new coping skills. This process allows individuals to explore their feelings in a safe space, fostering personal growth and emotional resilience.
"This is the most fun I’ve had in a long time! I discovered that I’m so much more than the role I’ve been playing." — Lizzie, 17
